Tracy Hernandez started her career in newspapers and held chief executive positions in several major markets. In 2003, she was named the first female publisher of the Los Angeles Daily News. After leaving newspapers, she helped found the Los Angeles County Business Federation, or BizFed, an alliance of 215 business associations. BizFed’s office is in Commerce but she remains locally involved. She is on the board of Woodbury University Business School and the Valley Economic Alliance. BEST ADVICE: expect.
