D.S. Honda Construction David S. Honda heads Northridgebased D.S. Honda Construction. After seminal roles at Beverly Hills firms Innovax Construction and Spacemakers Inc., the Valley native founded his firm in Northridge in 1980. Several notable early projects included the Director’s Guild of America, Japanese American National Museum and the 1984 Special Olympics Archery Range Complex at Woodley Park. Very active in the community, Honda has served on the Los Angeles Planning Commission; was chair of California State University – Northridge Foundation and president of United Chambers of Commerce. He had top leadership roles at the Valley Economic Alliance, Rotary Club of Van Nuys and Fernando Awards. ALMA MATER: San Fernando High. ADVICE: Network, network, network!
