20/20 Network Tim Gallagher co-owns the public affairs firm 20/20 Network, leads a nonprofit land trust for affordable housing and this year became chair of the business leaders group Vistage. “My passions are housing opportunities and business leadership,” Gallagher said. “In our community, our middle class, our cops and teachers cannot afford to buy a home. Homes for Generations of Ventura County aims to change that.” As a Vistage chair, he said: “Vistage is where leaders come to learn. I help make their companies more profitable, give them more time for themselves. We kid that we take CEOs and turn them into human beings.” He is the former publisher of the Ventura County Star. BEST ADVICE: God made us with two eyes, two ears and one mouth. Shut up and listen. FAVORITE BOOK: “Angela’s Ashes” by Frank McCourt. Nothing captures my story so well. BUCKET LIST: To build a 35-home development in Thousand Oaks for middle-income families.
